Effective August 16, 2026 · Applies to the Hungry Army Facebook Page Messenger assistant
This policy explains what information our Messenger assistant collects when you message the Hungry Army Facebook Page, why we collect it, and how it's handled.
01
What we collect
When you send a message to the Hungry Army Page on Messenger, our assistant receives:
Your public first name, pulled from your Facebook profile, so replies can greet you by name.
A Page-scoped ID (PSID) — a technical identifier Facebook assigns for your conversation with our Page. It isn't your Facebook account ID and can't be used to identify you outside Messenger.
The text of the messages you send to the Page.
If you choose to share it — for example, when asking about a franchise — your name and contact number, so our team can follow up with you directly.
We don't request or collect payment details, precise location, or any information beyond what's needed to answer your message.
02
How we use it
Your message and first name are sent to Claude, an AI assistant by Anthropic, which drafts a reply using our published pricing, locations, and policies. If a question falls outside what the assistant knows — a complaint, a bulk order, something unusual — it lets you know a team member will follow up, and separately notifies our staff so someone can respond personally.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with any other third party or use it for advertising.
04
How long we keep it
Conversation history is kept in memory only, for as long as our server keeps running, so the assistant can follow the thread of your conversation. It is not written to a database or file, and it's cleared automatically whenever our server restarts. We don't keep a permanent log of message content.
05
Your choices
You can stop the conversation at any time by simply not replying — nothing further is collected.
You can ask us what information we have connected to your Messenger conversation, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us using the details below.
Blocking or unfollowing the Hungry Army Page through Messenger stops the assistant from receiving your messages.
